Dual Degrees
Two degrees, one seamless program: Master of Climate Solutions (MCS) & Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Study climate solutions and the principles of leadership.
Interested in maximizing your time and investment by earning two distinct degrees? UC Berkeley offers a concurrent degree, sometimes called a joint degree, that gives students the opportunity to enroll in both the Master of Climate Solutions program from the Rausser College of Natural Resources (RCNR) and one of the top MBA programs in the world through the Haas School of Business (Haas).
More immersive experience
Students earning both degrees have the opportunity for two summers that can be used for internships, as well as immersive project-based courses in both degree programs. The MBA/MCS enables students to spend five semesters at Berkeley, with enough time to develop networks across both programs as well as the campus, and to get to know our world-class faculty.
Deeper dive in sustainability than the standard MBA
Standard MBA programs provide only a handful of courses focused on climate and sustainability. In MBA/MCS, you learn not only broad business skills and knowledge, but also the fundamentals of climate change and sustainability to develop comprehensive strategies to meet an organization’s sustainability goals.
Learn from experts in the field and at Berkeley
Rausser College and Haas School of Business together provide a rich, synergistic learning environment, bridging innovative climate strategies with astute business acumen, preparing you to navigate a future where sustainability and business converge with impactful purpose.
